Hour and minute choose two modal values. Grains gather where the analytic plate function approaches zero; revealed cyan lines show those nodes beneath the grains.
How to read it
The pattern is the reading. Its stated pair of modes comes directly from the hour and minute; each minute forces a full reorganization.
Sound
The optional tone begins only after Enable sound is pressed. The visual plate carries the complete clock without audio.
